Indigenous Counselling & NIHB

I provide virtual counselling for Indigenous adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, and other life challenges.

Reaching out for counselling can be difficult, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. My goal is to provide a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin—we can figure that out together.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in cultural humility. I recognize the importance of your experiences, family, community, culture, and strengths, and take the time to understand what matters to you.

I am an approved NIHB provider in Alberta and offer direct billing for eligible First Nations and Inuit clients, so covered sessions do not require you to pay upfront and submit receipts for reimbursement. You can contact me directly to get started, and if you are unsure about your eligibility or what is required for coverage, I can help you understand the process.

All sessions are offered virtually, allowing you to connect from a private and comfortable space that works for you.

If you’re considering counselling, you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start with a conversation and take it from there.
